Hello Rangers!
The countdown to next year's reunion is now less than 12 months and, if history repeats itself, the time will fly!!! I wanted to start this discussion for those of you that may have questions or comments to share during the upcoming months. Plans so far include another picnic on the front lawn, faculty reception, memorials for deceased alumni, a tribute to all our RHS veterans, golf tournament, parade, music in the evenings and pictures, pictures, pictures! Plans are very hopeful for a special presentation on Meadow River Lumber Company and a gospel sing. (More info will be provided as these things come together ) Please remember that individual class functions are the responsibility of your class contact person.
We have heard from lots of folks with address changes and cannot stress enough the importance of finding alumni that we have not been able to locate.
Have a great summer and remember...We here in town love to hear from all of you!!!

A reunion meeting will be held in the Rainelle Elementary Cafeteria Monday, December 11th, at 7:00pm.
All contact persons, helpers, amd interested alumni are urged to attend.
Some of the topics to be discussed are:

I have seen a Quinwood throw. They are large, heavy weight and of extremely good quality.

We agree, Marilyn...we are in the process of gathering pictures to have a Rainelle one made. If all goes as planned they will be available at the reunion.

On behalf of the Reunion Committee and the Contact Persons for the classes, we hope you are all having a great start to the New Year.

We have scheduled a meeting the last of January to prepare the registration packages. Also, a tentative agenda is being posted on this site for your convenience and, in response to your suggestions, ALL events held outdoors will be in the shade on the front lawn !!!
Don't miss the new and different events that have been added, but please remember that all times are subject to change, if necessary.

I would also like to remind you that the individual class activities are the responsibility of your class contact person and are not listed on the All-School Agenda. Also, your contact people are going to need your help and ideas for your parade entry. As those of you know, the parade is a highlight of our reunion. Don't forget all those poodle skirts stuck in your closet and classic cars in your garage!!!

We hope to see you all in July!

Sorry Folks! Don't look for your registration materials just yet! Unfortunately, we will not be able to meet tonight to prepare the registration package....Winter has returned to Greenbrier County! The contact people are ready and all the forms are printed, but since the area schools were closed today, we have been forced to postpone the meeting.

We'll keep you posted!!!

We're keeping our fingers crossed hoping the next winter storm holds off until after tomorrow night. If all goes well our meeting is scheduled for tomorrow night at 7:00 in the cafeteria but another storm is on the way! Hopefully your registration information will be on the way soon!

Hello everyone!
As shown by Andy's pictures, we did have the 'packet stuffing' meeting Monday night with 43 people attending. Most all classes were represented and we are working to get the rest completed. As of now, we have 1169 ready to mail as soon as our stamps arrive. (Our post office does not have that many 63 cent stamps in stock!)
You may also want to multiply 63 x 1169 to see where some of your registration money goes.
There is quite a bit of information in these packets so grab a cup of coffee or a glass of soda and see what we have planned for you.
We'll let you know the day they are put in the mail!

Thank you to all the precious people who took time to work tirelessly to stuff those envelopes, and to those who plan the reunions. For those who cannot be there, it is a glimpse into the amount of effort it takes to provide the wonderful reunions.
Again, thank you.

They're Off----
about half of the registration packets have gone in the mail today. The other half will go tomorrow (at the request of the post office)...I sure am glad the stamps are self-adhesive now!

Good news-the mailbox is stuffed everyday---the registrations are starting to pour in !
If you have not received your packet, please let us know. As of now, we have had 21 packets returned for incorrect addresses but the class contact people will be working to correct them.

Reminder...Please don't forget to post your name on the roll call!!! (That was a really neat idea, Rita!)

Hello everyone!
Just a short note to let you know that we are well over 175 registrations for the reunion. We are also glad to report that we have gotten registrations from folks who have never attended an All-School reunion---how great is that? The 'clock ticker' on this website (wasn't that a great addition!!!) has just reminded me that we are only 99 days away---where does the time go???
If you have stuck that registration form on the fridge on in a drawer, how about digging it out and getting it in---that clock keeps ticking!
